The Tama Do path of sound, color and movement merges organically into my background as an exhibiting painter, student and performer of middle eastern and southern italian dance, and classical vocal training. Additionally, it enhances other healing modalities in which I am trained, including reflexology and shamanic dream work teacher training. It also complements my studies in French, Chinese and East Asian Studies.
With a B.F.A. in Fine Arts from Moore College of Art and an M.A in Asian Pacific Studies from the University of San Francisco, I have exhibited internationally, from New York to Tokyo. I have danced in performances in New York, such as at the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine and the Lafayette Bar and Grill, and in L.A., at Remo with I Giullari di Piazza.
From this background in the arts, upon introduction to Tama Do work, the beautiful weaving of energy and light felt immediately natural and familiar to me. I feel that it has been a gateway path that has integrated into my life both as a creative person and practitioner, and I am honored to partake in the journey of this work.
Practioner incorporating Tama Do instruments since 2004. Shamanic 2004, 2007. Teaching certifications: Rainbow Color Essences, Tao Yin Fa Series I.
