Tama-Do Academy Mission Statement

“Tama-Do (“Way of the Soul”), The Academy of Sound, Color and Movement®, founded in 1988 by Visionary Fabien Maman, the founding father of vibrational sound therapy (Webster’s Dictionary), is dedicated to the evolution of Human Consciousness through research, teachings and creative Soul-expression. We are an international community of Energy Practitioners of the Light.

Tama-Do means "the Way of the Soul to the Light." We honor and practice the Light above all else. We use Energy Work, Spiritual Practice and Self Knowledge to receive the Light and pass it on to others.

The Tama-Do name and emblem appear on all Tama-Do books, recordings, websites and other publications, assuring the reader that the work originates with the Academy established by Fabien Maman and Terres Unsoeld, and faithfully conveys the integrity of their teachings and preserves the purity and integrity of the Tama-Do work and mission for future generations.”

• ____I will cite Fabien Maman's and Terres Unsoeld's work, name them as my teachers and reference and link to Tama-Do, The Academy of Sound, Color and Movement® (www.tamado.com) as the source of my training.
• ____I will always conduct my Tama-Do therapy sessions consistent with the process and curriculum as developed and taught by Tama-Do, The Academy of Sound, Color and Movement®.
• ____I will not mix the Tama-Do Level I Techniques with other modalities.
• ____I also understand that after completing a Tama-Do Level II or III Workshop, Training or Master Class, I am allowed to practice the Tama-Do Techniques that I have learned within the workshop ONLY on myself, for self development. These advanced techniques, according to the Shamanique Ettiquette, are not to be practiced on others, as they have not been initiated into the Sacred knowledge.

• ____I will refrain from smoking, drinking alcohol or using recreational drugs (including all hallucinogenic plants) during any and all Tama-Do Activities, including but not limited to Tama-Do Teachings, Therapy Sessions and Shamanique Journeys.
• ____I will be clean and sober (alcohol, tobacco, drugs and hallucinogenic plants) 3 months before a Tama-Do Training and during the entire course of the training - day and night.
• ____I will wear no perfumes, essential oils or perfumed body lotions, shampoos, etc, during any and all Tama-Do Activities, as many people have respiratory issues, which we must be sensitive to, and many oils conflict with the Faery Essences used during Tama-Do activities.
• ____I will wear white (or light colored) clothing to harmonize the energies of the room, during qi gong, meditations, concerts and while conducting a Tama-Do Therapy session..
• ____I will wear different clothing when I am outside on the street, than when I am working within the Sacred Energy Field of Tama-Do (our Tama-dojo).
• ____I will keep my physical body, which is my Sacred Temple for the Light, clean at all times. I will take showers daily, wash my whites regularly, wear socks during the courses, to protect the floors from receiving the toxins of my feet and wash my hands and face before and after Tama-Do therapy sessions.

• ____I will hold Sacred the Divine that is within me.
• ____I will honor the Teachers, the Teachings and the Group.
• ____I will refrain from negative, critical or fear-based language and communication.
• ___I will hold space for others to rise up to the Light.
• ____I will support the Teachers to rise the energies up of the group.
• ____I understand that the contact information of my fellow classmates is private and has been given to me so that we can communicate about Tama-Do course work and scheduling. I will not create “groups” on social media platforms (such as Face Book, Whatsapp, Messenger, etc) that involve my fellow classmates without written permission from Tama-Do Academy.
• ____I will refrain from sexually evocative or provocative behavior. This means sexual banter, body language, provocative and inappropriate clothing.
• ____I will refrain from sexual or intimate relations with fellow students during the trainings.
• ____I will have NO sexual or intimate relations with my Tama-Do Teachers, Practitioners or Clients.

• ____Take all 9 Level I Courses.
• ____Take the Level I Review and Tama-Do Ethics Course.
• ____Fulfill the Tama-Do Practice Protocol which includes handing in 50 client sessions PRIOR to the Level I Test. The Practice Protocol consists of:
• Practice the Tao Yin Fa® or Zhi Neng Qi Gong every day.
• Deepen my understanding of the Tama-Do Teachings and Techniques by studying the Tama- Do books by Fabien Maman: The Tao of Sound and Musique of the Sky; and Terres Unsoeld: Accessing the Way of the Soul through Color, Shamanism of the Light, Initiatique Trees of the Light - as The Noble Hero's Journey to the Light - 8 movies of inspirational/spiritual teachings of the Light.
• Be “in the field” of the Tama-Do work. Embrace compassion, understanding and good will in my daily practice. Be open and willing to learn.
• Be “on the path” of the Higher Consciousness, which is necessary to further the vibrational work of the Academy... This means furthering self awareness through additional practice such as Qi Gong, Tai Chi, meditation, reading, music, art, etc...
• Practice Aikido of Life. Be Light.
• ____ Successfully pass the Level I Test
• ____ Take Level II Summer Intensive.
• ____ Sign the Tama-Do Student Code of Ethics and Conduct
• ____ Sign the Level I and II RSVP Contracts with the Academy, as well as the Level I and II Registration forms.

• 150 word bio, photo and contact information placed on the Tama-Do website.
• Client referrals from Tama-Do Academy.
• Use of the Tama-Do logo.
• Tama-Do Practitioner Brochure®, with Tama-Do Logo and description of the Tama-Do Techniques, which contains personal bio, photo and contact information for promotional use.
• Tama-Do Practitioner Business Cards, with Tama-Do Logo.
• 30% off books, CDs and essences.
• Special access to Fabien and Terres.
• Contact with other Certified Tama-Do Practitioners around the world via zoom and special gatherings.

• ____I will not call myself a Certified Tama-Do Practitioner or a Tama-Do Practitioner unless and until I am granted permission to do so in writing by Tama-Do Academy, after completing the Tama-Do Practitioner requirements.

• ____I will not advertise nor hold myself out to the public as a Tama-Do Teacher of this or any other Tama-Do techniques, unless and until I am granted permission to do so in writing by Tama-Do Academy, after completing the Tama-Do Teacher Certification Requirements.
• ____I will not , under any designation or description, teach any courses that are derived in part or in whole upon any of the Tama-Do Sound, Color or Movement® techniques that I have learned in the Level I and II trainings I have taken or am about to take, or in any Tama-Do Academy books, CDs or written or electronic material.
• ____I will not copy any of the Tama-Do materials including but not limited to , CDs, handouts, photos, movies, leaflets, websites and advertisements as well as the cell photos of Fabien Maman for my personal or professional use without permission from Tama-Do Academy.
• ____I will not copy or share written materials with other individuals or groups without permission from Tama-Do Academy.
• ____I will not photograph or record during any Tama-Do trainings. I will not take photographs of Fabien Maman, Terres Unsoeld, Carrie Mitchell, Lorne Auber without their permission.
• ____I will not re-shape nor re-name the Tama-Do Teachings for my own personal or professional use.

• ____I will use the language approved by the Academy and given to me to describe the TamaDo Academy, Tama-Do techniques, etc. By doing so, I understand that I strengthen the name recognition of Tama-Do Academy, which can only help my practice.
• ____If I wish to make any changes to the Tama-Do language describing Tama-Do’s Teachings and Techniques, I must ask permission first from Tama-Do. In all my publicity, whether it is in leaflet, or website, social media platform, I shall site Fabien Maman and Terres Unsoeld as my teachers and link to the Tama-Do website: www.tama-do.com.
• ____I will not use Fabien Maman; Tama-Do Academy; Terres Unsoeld; or Sound, Color and Movement© as metatags on my website or social media communication, without permission from Tama-Do Academy.
• ____I will not use Fabien Maman’s cell photos on my website.

• ____ Tama-Do Academy reserves the right to accept or reject the qualifications of any student to participate in any Tama-Do class, workshop, etc. Tama-Do further reserves the right, at any time, to rescind the participation of any student in a class, workshop, etc, with no refund, if the student is disruptive to the energy of the Teacher, the Teachings or the Sacred Circle of the Group.
• ____Students must be clean and sober (alcohol, tobacco, recreational drugs and hallucinogenic plants) 3 months before a Tama-Do Training and during the entire course of the training - day and night - or they will be expelled immediately with no refund. Thank you to honor the energy field.

• ____ Product is non refundable and non returnable.
• ____Cancellation Policy for Workshops with local teachers: More than 4 weeks prior to start date: full refund minus deposit. 4 weeks or less from start date: No refunds; Cancellation Policy for Europe Workshops with Terres Unsoeld or Fabien Maman: Before 12 weeks prior to start date: full refund minus deposit. Less than 12 weeks prior to start date: No refunds. Cancellation Policy for Shamanic Journeys: NO REFUNDS
• ____For students on payment plans - there are no cancellations and no refunds allowed. The full payment is due, whether you attend your training or not.
