Tama-Do, The Way of the Soul :\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0Advice to Light Workers for the Coming Age
\n<\/strong>by Terres Unsoeld, Senior Instructor of Tama-Do Academy<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tama-Do, The Academy of Sound, Colour and Movement<\/strong>, was received by musician\/composer, acupuncturist, sound researcher, Fabien Maman more than 30 years ago, in a tiny caf\u00e9 in\u00a0East London.\u00a0\u00a0A 3 years course, filled with non-invasive techniques using Sound, Colour and Movement, to ground the Soul in the daily life \u2013 was scribbled on the back of a napkin \u2013 a direct transmission from the Guides of the Academy.\u00a0 Today, Tama-Do (meaning \u2018the\u00a0Way of the Soul<\/em>\u2019) is still going strong.<\/p>\n

I have been the Senior Instructor of the Level I Training for 13 years, and, together with Fabien Maman, we have watched the blossoming of the new Age consciousness.\u00a0\u00a0We thought it might be useful to share with you some of our Tama-Do Guidelines for Light Workers of the Coming Age.<\/p>\n

\u201cGo to the Light\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>In\u00a0Tama-Do\u00a0Academy, this is our daily practice.\u00a0 Our thoughts create our future.\u00a0 If we believe that the\u00a0Spiritual Way\u00a0of a Light Worker is to strive toward the Divine Light, then each thought, each feeling, each action must reach toward the Light.\u00a0 And this is in public, as healers and teachers, as well as in the privacy of our own room.\u00a0 Wherever we are, we must choose to go to the Light, and not into the suffering and drama of the daily life. This takes self discipline and dedication to achieve.<\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s a noble path.\u2019\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0The\u00a0Tama-Do Way\u00a0takes patience, practice and perseverance.\u00a0 It takes a lot of discipline and hard work.\u00a0 We have to watch our thoughts and emotion 24\/7.\u00a0 When we\u2019re tired, its\u2019 so easy to slip into negative self doubt or be influenced by\u00a0others.\u00a0\u00a0Be Aware. Be Vigilant!<\/p>\n

Just because our business card says we are Light Workers, doesn\u2019t mean it\u2019s an easy road.\u00a0 Au contraire !\u00a0 Once we touch the Light \u2013 we can never go back to sleep again.\u00a0 And the more Light we become, the more the dark forces want to take us down.\u00a0 Stay the course !<\/p>\n

As Light Workers, our Souls demand that we stand noble in the face of adversity.\u00a0 This means we have committed to a cause higher than ourselves.\u00a0 We strive to make the world a better place than when we arrived.\u00a0 We want to take our ancestors one step forward \u2013 beyond where they were able to go.<\/p>\n

Using Colour, Sound and daily Qi Gong can help us stay clear, centred and focused on the light whatever the life challenges are thrown at us.<\/p>\n

\u2018Become a Disciple of the Light.\u2019\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>To be a Light Worker, we must become Disciples of the Light.\u00a0 This means that we commit our Souls to the Light, and this comes first, above all else.\u00a0 Choices we make along the way must be made to serve the Light.\u00a0 The social requests made by friends, family, job and country take second place to the Way of the Soul.\u00a0 This is a serious commitment, \u00a0it\u2019s not easy but these choices are often our Soul Initiations.<\/p>\n

We, as Souls, come into each lifetime with 3-5 tasks that we have chosen to undertake.\u00a0 We might have chosen a dysfunctional family, harsh environment or physical weakness.\u00a0 Like the Knights of yesteryear, we must prove our commitment to the Light.<\/p>\n

I know, I can hear you crying out that YOUR challenge is really demanding !\u00a0 And it\u2019s not fair !, etc.\u00a0 But this is the personality crying out, not the Soul.\u00a0 It is our Soul\u2019s job to receive her chosen initiation and GRACEFULLY metabolize it into Light.\u00a0Our Soul has chosen the themes that we will face this lifetime, but it is the personality that sees the challenges as disasters rather than opportunity.\u00a0It is our choice.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0What is this new Coming Age, after all?\u00a0 It is the ability to rise the consciousness to see the Light, rather than the dark.<\/p>\n

In addition to the themes our Soul has chosen for this lifetime, we can affect the journey of our experience by our ongoing thoughts and emotions. All too often we do not need to endure as much as we do. We create our own \u201ctrain wrecks.\u201d\u00a0 We pollute our energy field with negative thoughts and negative emotion.\u00a0 We allow ourselves to live in toxic environments, filled with toxic behaviour.\u00a0 Like attracts like. The more dark there is in us and around us, the more dark we attract.\u00a0 The more LIGHT around us, the more LIGHT we attract.\u00a0 It\u2019s really that simple. Hence why its so important to clear our auric fields. The scientific Research done by Fabien Maman shows that gentle Acoustic Sound combined with colour , grounded with movement (Qi Gong) is the best way to clear the Auric field and link us with our Higher perspectives.<\/p>\n

\u2018Light Work is not a vacation.\u2019\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Some \u2018Spiritual people\u2019 go looking in exotic places for spiritual enlightenment. They go on holiday in\u00a0Peru\u00a0or Kilimanjaro, or Everest base camp, then go home to their \u201cday job.\u201d\u00a0 They complain that they have to compartmentalize their spiritual work, holiday, day job and family. Then they go looking in another direction until they have been on every \u2018New Age\u2019 workshop there is and yet it doesn\u2019t change the nature of their everyday life.<\/p>\n

For those of us on our Way \u2013 there is only One Way \u2013 to the Light.\u00a0 No matter what we are doing \u2013 working in a bank, being a healer, or a mother, the Way is the Light.\u00a0 This is the Way of the Soul.\u00a0Dion Fortune always said, don\u2019t be a tourist.\u00a0 Don\u2019t dabble in multiple modalities. Choose one way and go all the way to the deep of it.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

His Holiness the Dalai Lama always says that it is not the \u201cgetting there\u201d that\u2019s important \u2013 it\u2019s The Way.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

How do you know your Soul Path?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Many Light Workers believe they are \u201cguided\u201d in all there actions.\u00a0 While this is the goal, it might not be the daily reality.\u00a0 Our auras pick up the thoughts and feelings of those we spend time with and this energy can effect so much that we perceive it as ‘being guided’ when actually it\u2019s interference. This influence can be more powerful than any guidance from a Higher source. Then there can be interference from beings in the Invisible World that seek to influence us and distract us from what is our true path. How do we know when it is our Guides speaking, rather than any of this interference. A healthy dose of\u00a0discernment\u00a0<\/strong>is required.\u00a0 The Tama-Do magic words are:\u00a0 \u201cAre you here for my Highest Good?\u00a0 Is this for my Highest Good?\u201d\u00a0 \u2018Do I feel energised and fed by what I am currently doing?\u2019<\/p>\n

In Tama-Do, we also use key words to help us find our way. Joy.\u00a0 Wonder. Self Power.\u00a0 Nobility.\u00a0 Whatever you are doing, check yourself with these words.\u00a0 If you feel these things \u2013 you are on your Way ! If you do not, you are possibly being distracted by outside influence.<\/p>\n

Grounding the Soul in the Daily Life.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>In\u00a0Tama-Do\u00a0Academy, we use Sound, Colour and chi Movement to ground the Soul in the Daily Life.\u00a0 We clear the field so that our Soul can express herself in her true essence.<\/p>\n

Colour opens us to the Light.\u00a0 Sound clears the Way.\u00a0 Movement grounds the Light in our body.<\/p>\n

Tama-Do \u2013 it\u2019s a beautiful journey !<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
