At long last we are happy to release Fabien Maman's first therapy concert, Tinjad - recorded in 1978!
Fabien Maman left his professional career as a jazz musician in 1975, after his Spiritual awakening in the Sahara Desert. He found his Master Sensei Nakazono in Paris, who initiated him into aikido, acupuncture and the ancient esoteric science of pure sound, Kototama.
It was during this time that he created the now famous technique of using tuning forks on acupuncture command points and meridians.
By 1978, Fabien was 36 years old and in Spiritual gestation. He had finished his professional music career, was studying aikido and was practicing acupuncture, but was still guided by the musique. But his musique was changing. As he became more Spiritual, Bossa Nova was no longer enough.
Tinjad was born in a small church in Tourettes Sur Loup in the South of France. It is pure Fabien! Driving rhythms, JOY! and uplift! as well as a longing for more peaceful times.
46 years old and still a classique, Tinjad is perfect for this day and age.
Thank you Simone Guiliani, for lovingly bringing Fabien's little cassette tape into the digital age, without losing Fabien's original resonance.
